The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme was established in 1984, making it the oldest programme of this kind in the world and the ‘platinum standard of the industry. In over 30 years of operation, it has distinguished itself by its exceptional investment options and meticulous due diligence procedures. To this day, St. Kitts and Nevis remains the world’s most reputable jurisdiction for the conferral of citizenship by investment.

There are two main investment options available for applicants:

SUSTAINABLE GROWTH FUND (SGF) CONTRIBUTION

Applicants may qualify for citizenship through a contribution to the Sustainable Growth Fund (SGF).

Government Fees
(Standard application fees for Real Estate, Private Home and PGIO Investment options)

  • Main Applicant: $25,000.00
  • Spouse: $15,000.00
  • Dependent child/other qualified dependent over 18: $15,000.00
  • Dependent child under 18: $10,000.00

Sustainable Growth Fund Option
(SGF Limited Time Offer) 1 January 2023 – 30 June 2023

  • Main Applicant: $125,000.00
  • Main Applicant and a spouse: $150,000.00
  • Main Applicant, spouse and two dependents: $170,000.00
  • Each dependent over 18: $25,000.00
  • Each dependent under 18: $10,000.00

Sustainable Growth Funds
From 1 July 2023 Onwards

  • Main Applicant: $150,000.00
  • Main Applicant and a spouse: $175,000.00
  • Main Applicant, spouse and two dependents: $195,000.00
  • Each dependent over 18: $25,000.00
  • Each dependent under 18: $10,000.00

Upon submission of an application, non-refundable due diligence and processing fees must be also paid. These fees amount to US$7,500 for the main applicant, and US$4,000 for each dependent of the main application who is over the age of 16 years.

REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT

Applicants may qualify for citizenship through an investment in a pre-approved real estate project, which may include hotel shares, villas, and condominium units. The minimum real estate investment required by law is US$200,000 (resalable after 7 years) or US$400,000 (resalable after 5 years) for each main applicant.

Upon submission of an application, non-refundable due diligence and processing fees must also be paid. These fees amount to US$7,500 for the main applicant, and US$4,000 for each dependent of the main applicant who is over the age of 16 years. A form fee of $250 each is required for everyone including children.

On approval in principle of an application made through a real estate investment, a Government fee applies, as follows:

  • Main applicant: US$25,000.00
  • Spouse of the main applicant: US$15,000.00
  • Dependent child/other qualified dependent over 18: US$15,000.00
  • Dependent child under 18: US$10,000.00

In addition to these fees, real estate buyers should be aware of purchase costs (mainly compulsory insurance fund contributions and conveyance fee.
